Book marketing skills – are they something you are born with or are they a learned capability?
No one thinks about this stuff often, but I did find myself wondering if some things just can’t be taught. They have to be inside of you and nurtured. Is book marketing one of those things?
To be good at something, you generally have to work at it. You learn, study, and practice your craft. You are driven to succeed, either out of necessity or desire, but a passion thrusts you forward. I’m sure some people are born with certain gifts, but there’s no guarantee these gifts can be improved upon and combined to form a strong book marketer.
